

Dorcas Njeri Kareithi
About me
Dorcas Kareithi is a clinical trials statistician with the Biostatistics Research Group at Newcastle University, UK. Previously, she was the Study Design and Analysis Manager (Head of Research) at Cocreation Hub Limited, sitting at the Design Lab in Kigali, Rwanda. She has over 7 years’ experience in the health industry as an analyst, researcher and working with several organizations to implement health products and services.
Dorcas holds a MSc. in Biometry from the University of Nairobi and a BSc. in Economics and Mathematics, Kabarak University. She is the interim chairperson of ISIbalo Young African Statisticians Association (IYASA), an active member of International Biometric Society (IBS) and Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD).
Her current work and interest is in clinical trials, with emphasis on early phase oncology trials and adaptive designs in clinical trials.
